WHO ARE WE?
Advocacy in Action UK is training & consultancy organisation delivering training and other support services to individuals and organisations within local communities across the UK. We validate the valuable work and experience of Advocates, carers, social workers, volunteers and many more individuals who make a valuable contribution to their community either as professionals or non professionals.
SOCIAL AIMS
We aim to bring about change in various communities particularly in the areas of access to welfare, education, health, social care and community development.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We deliver National Open College Network (N.O.C.N) accredited and non-accredited advocacy training programmes with a flexible approach that suits the needs of the learners. Each unit has 3 credits and at the end of the programme learners who successfully complete the programme will have gained at least 21 credits which can be used towards a higher education course or increased employment opportunities.

PROGRESSION
This course will provide increased access to further and higher education. There are several progressions routes into employment in specialist fields available. Tutors are available to talk this through with individual learners.
DIVERSITY
We aim to consider all needs of learners on the programmes. Staff and volunteers are experienced and trained to work and support learners in line with legal requirements and Advocacy in Action UK equal opportunity and learning Policy.
